Tasty Crab Spread Recipe

 

This recipe makes a very elegant spread. Be sure and use dill weed and not dill seed! It is nice to have on hand at the holidays!

ounces cream cheese, room temperature

ounces finely chopped imitation crab blend (surimi)

cup mayonnaise
1/2
cup sour cream
1
tablespoon freshly chopped dill weed or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4
cup finely chopped onion
1/4
cup finely chopped celery
1
tablespoon lemon juice
  Crackers or garlic toasts to serve with dip

 

           

 

Combine all ingredients except crackers or toast and mix well with an electric mixer.   Chill and serve with crackers or garlic toasts.  Makes about 4 cups dip.
