Linda and Mike’s Margaritas for a Crowd

This is an excellent recipe for a party.  The mix can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve the margaritas.  Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.

2
12-ounce cans limeade concentrate (buy in freezer section, defrost

in refrigerator if possible)

2 1/4
cups tequila
1 1/2
cups Triple Sec
3/4
cup lemon juice
Crushed ice
Salt for rims
Lime, cut in eighths, to moisten rim of glasses before salting

Mix the limeade, tequila, Triple Sec and lemon juice in a container.  You can place this in the refrigerator if making ahead.  When ready to make margaritas, put 1/4 of the mixture in the blender and fill with crushed ice to within 2 inches of top.  Blend on high speed until combined and it has a frozen appearance.   Serve in glasses rimmed with lime and then salt if desired.  Repeat with rest of mixture.  Serves 24.
