Excellent Margaritas


>This recipe is our favorite margarita recipe.  You can make the mix up ahead and refrigerate it until you want to blend it.  You can also serve over ice without blending.


12-ounce can limeade concentrate (frozen)
ounces gold tequila (1 cup plus 1 ounce)
cup Triple Sec
ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice
Crushed ice



Mix all ingredients except crushed ice in a pitcher.  Add one-half of mixture to blender container.  Fill the container with crushed ice to within 2 inches of top.  Blend on high speed until combined. Pour into salt rimmed margarita glasses.  Repeat blending with remaining mix.  Makes 6 to 8 servings.
