Cream Biscuits

If you have self-rising flour on hand, here is an extremely easy recipe for biscuits.  White Lily flour is excellent and can be purchased online if you can’t find it in your local grocery stores.

1 1/3
cups White Lily Self-rising flour
1
cup heavy whipping cream, not whipped
Butter, melted

Preheat oven to 475°.  Place flour in mixing bowl.  Add cream and blend well.  Turn dough onto lightly floured surface.  Knead gently 8 to 10 times.  Roll out dough ½-inch thick.  Cut with a biscuit cutter.  Place on ungreased baking sheet.  Bake for 10 minutes.  Brush tops with melted butter after removing from oven.  Makes 12 biscuits.
