Sweet Corn Bread

 

This recipe makes a Northern-style corn bread, since it has a fair amount of sugar in it.

cup cornmeal

 

 

Oil and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan.  Preheat oven to 375.  Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs and mix well.  Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.  Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes.
