Stars and Stripes Cake

9x13-inch white cake, baked
1
large container Cool Whip
3
cups strawberries, cut in halves
1/2
cup blueberries

 

 

Cut cake in half horizontally.  Mix 1 cup strawberries with 1 cup Cool Whip.  Spread between cake layers.  Put top layer on.  Frost with remaining Cool Whip.  Make a flag design on cake top, using blueberries for stars and strawberry halves for stripes.  Refrigerate. 

 

Good for Fourth of July.
