Cherry Cheesecake

cups graham crascker crumbs

cup melted butter
1/4
teaspoon cinnamon
Dash nutmeg

 

 

Combine ingredients and press firmly into Handi-foil Heart pan (1-1/2 Qt. Capacity).

(I crush graham crackers in a Ziploc bag and then combine with rest of ingredients in same bag.)

8 ounces packages softened cream cheese

cup sugar

eggs

teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2
teaspoon almond extract (optional)

 

 

Beat cream cheese with electric mixer.  Gradually add sugar while beating continues.  Add eggs and vanilla and almond flavorings; continue beating until thoroughly blended.  Pour into crumbed pan.  Place pan on cookie sheet and bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes.  Chill.

 

            1          21 ounce can cherry pie filling

 

Spread pie filling on chilled cake. 

 

Serves 8.
