Almond Amaretto Pie

cup sugar

cup Karo light syrup

tablespoons butter, melted

teaspoon vanilla
1
cup sliced almonds
2
tablespoons Amaretto
1/2
teaspoon almond extract

9 inch unbaked deep dish pie shell

 

 

            
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In medium bowl with fork beat eggs slightly.  Add sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, Amaretto, and almond extract.  Stir in almonds.  Pour into pie crust.

 

Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.  Cool on wire rack. 

 

Serves 8.
