Burritos

 

Burritos with Mexican rice and Refried Beans

lb. ground beef
1/2
teaspoon Mexican seasoning or salt,  pepper

cups grated cheddar cheese

16 ounce can refried beans
1
cup sour cream
1
tomato, diced
1
onion, diced or 1 cup sliced green onions
1/2
cup sliced olives
10
flour tortillas
Taco sauce

 

 

Cook ground beef with Mexican seasoning.  Heat beans.  Heat tortillas in microwave oven.  Put other items in individual dishes and place on table.  Each person prepares their own burritos by placing a flour tortilla on their plate and topping with meat, beans, cheese and other toppings as desired.  Fold in sides and roll up. 

 

Serves 4 to 6.
