Steak Marinade a la Ray

cup soy sauce
3/4
cup water
1
cup brown sugar
3
cloves garlic, crushed or minced

slices ginger root, grated or crushed
1/4
cup whiskey
1/4
cup pineapple juice

 

 

Mix equal parts soy sauce and water.  Dissolve as much brown sugar as you can in the mixture.  Add fresh garlic and fresh ginger.  Add whiskey and pineapple juice.  Mix thoroughly.

 

Marinate steaks or beef overnight in refrigerator.  Chicken 2 to 4 hours.  Cook meat on barbecue....delicious.
