large onions, sliced

green pepper, diced

lb. ground beef

can (16 ounce) tomatoes
1/2
cup uncooked rice

teaspoon chili powder

teaspoon salt
1/8
teaspoon pepper

 

 

Brown ground beef; drain fat.  Add onions and green pepper and cook until onions are soft.  Stir in remaining ingredients and bake in ungreased 2-quart, covered baking dish at 350° oven for 1 hour.
