 Chicken Suzanne

 

I make this recipe often.  It is very easy to put together and it has no last minute preparation.

chicken breasts, skinned and boneless
1/4
cup butter
1/2
cup sour cream
1/2
cup sherry
1
10-3/4-ounce can condenesd cream of mushroom soup

 

 

Season chicken with salt and pepper;  brown in melted butter.  Remove chicken to greased shallow casserole.  Add sour cream, sherry and mushroom soup to melted butter.  Mix well and pour over chicken.  Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours or until done.  Serve over rice. 

 

Serves 4 to 6.
