Pork Chops and Potato Bake

tablespoons vegetable oil

teaspoon seasoning salt, divided

10 ounce can cream of mushroom or celery soup

cup milk
1/2
cup sour cream

teaspoon pepper

24 ounce package frozen O'Brien or hash brown potatoes, thawed

cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1
2.8 ounce can French Fried onions, divided
 

 

Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Brown pork chops in oil.  Sprinkle with half of the seasoning salt, and set aside.  Combine soup, milk, sour cream, pepper and remaining 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt.  Stir in potatoes, 1/2 cup cheese, and 1/2 can onions.  Spoon mixture into 9-by-13-inch baking dish.  Arrange pork chops on top.  Cover.  Bake for 40 minutes.

 

Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining cheese and onions over top.  Return to the oven and bake uncovered 5 minutes longer.
