Skillet Chops

 

 

This recipe is easy and makes a good pork chop.  You can also add some white wine in place of some of the water if you like.  The sauce makes a good gravy over rice or mashed potatoes.

pork chops, about 1 pound

10 ounce cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 to 1
cup water

 

 

In skillet, brown chops on both sides; pour off drippings.  Stir in soup and water.  Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes, or until tender.  Stir now and then. 

 

Makes 4 servings.
