Vegetarian Spaghetti Sauce

tablespoons olive oil

cloves garlic, minced

onion, chopped

green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 to 2
cups sliced mushrooms

teaspoons Italian herms

tablespoon minced parsley
1/2
cup red wine

32 ounce jar prepared spaghetti sauce
Pasta, uncooked

 

 

Heat oil in sauté pan.  Sauté garlic, onions, green pepper and mushrooms until sweated.  Add red wine, seasonings and spaghetti sauce.  Heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes.  Cook pasta in boiling water.  

 

Serve sauce over cooked   pasta.
