Oatmeal

cups water
2
cups oats
3/4
teaspoon salt

 

 

Stir oats into briskly boiling salted water.  Cook 5 minutes for Old Fashioned, 1 minute for Quick, stirring occasionally.  Cover; remove from heat.  Let stand a few minutes.

 

For 2 servings, 1-1/2 cups water, 2/3 cup oats, 1/4 teaspoon salt
