Broccoli Salad

large bunch broccoli, cut into florets (no stems)
2
cups grated mild Cheddar cheese
1
pupple onion, diced
1/2 to 1
pound bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Dressing

 

 

In large bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, onion and bacon; mix lightly but thoroughly.  Chill until ready to serve.  Just before serving, toss with Dressing.

 

Variation:  Omit cheese and add 1 cup raisins and 1 cup sunflower seeds.

 

Dressing

cup mayonnaise
1/3
cup sugar
2
tablespoons vinegar

 

 

Combine thoroughly the ingredients; chill.  Use as directed above.
