Italian Style Croutons

loaf of Italian-style bread
1/4
cup extra-virgin olive oil
1
teaspoon garlic powder
2
tablespoons dried parsley flakes
2
tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1
teaspoon dried Italian Herbs

 

 

Slice the bread into 3/4-inch cubes.  Mix the olive oil and garlic powder.  Put the bread cubes into a bowl and add the olive oil.  Mix well.  Sprinkle the remaining ingredients over the bread and mix well with your hands.  Spread on cookie sheet and bake in 275 degree oven until dry, light brown and crisp, about 1 hour. 

 

Let cool, then store or freeze in an airtight container.
