Lawry's Cartwheel Salad

small head iceberg lettuce, torn in bite-size pieces

small head romaine, torn in bit-size pieces
1/2
cup garbanzo beans
1
cup cherry tomato halves
1/4
cup sliced ripe olives
1/4
cup shoestring beets
1/4
cup sliced radishes
Tortilla strips

 

 

Have all ingredients except tortilla strips prepared and chilled.  To prepare tortilla strips, slice 6 corn tortillas into 1/4 inch strips.  Fry in hot oil until crisp.  In large, shallow salad bowl, make a bed of lettuce and arrange toppings in cartwheel design.  To serve, toss with your favorite dressing. 

 

Serves 6 to 8.
