Turkey Frame Soup

cups cut-up fresh vegetables (your choice of carrots, celery, onion,
broccoli, etc. Use any combination you like.)

Place turkey, water, onion, and salt in large Dutch oven.  Cook, covered, about 1-1/2 hours.  Remove frame; cool till it can be handled.  Remove meat from bones; discard bones.  Remove onion from broth.

 

Add turkey meat, tomatoes, seasonings, and vegetables.  Bring to boiling, cover and simmer for 45 minutes.  Add noodles; boil 15 minutes more. 

 

Makes 12 servings.
