Sautéed Spinach

tablespoons unsalted butter

tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1
clove garlic, minced
1
pound fresh spinach leaves, stemmed, washed, drained
Salt and pepper to taste

 

 

Heat butter and oil over medium-high heat.  Add garlic and spinach; reduce heat, and simmer, covered, 5 to 7 minutes.  Season with salt and pepper and serve.
